This housing project was designed in a natural setting. This green island located in the middle of an urbanized district of Marseille offers the project a unique setting. Designed in coherence with its context, the project respects the aspirations of the family owning the land who wished to preserve the building dating from the 18th century.

The proximity of the existing building and the listed wooded area forced the project to fit into a complex framework. Both undulating and angular, the facades present a duality of architectural treatments. To the south, a long white facade composed of spinning balconies slides along the dwellings, most of which face the garden. To the north, the rectilinear and angular façade fits into the templates and is adorned with a white faceted mosaic. The reflections and play of light on the facetted ceramics will fluctuate over the days and seasons, with the sky and the Mediterranean Sea on the horizon.
